   The Metallography Laboratory (LMET) is dedicated to the study and characterization of materials. It has equipment for production, processing and analysis of metallographic samples, such as machines for cutting, assembling and polishing. It is also possible to carry out chemical attacks, observation by microscopy and capture digital image. Other works are often carried out in LMET, such as studies about corrosion and the electrochemical behavior of metal alloys, weld inspection and identification of materials, among others.
