The laboratory has:

 The laboratory has one CNC vertical machining center with 3 axis, one CNC vertical machining center with 5 axis and one CNC lathe machine. These allow the production of very complex geometry parts, which require the performance of several machining operations with high dimensional accuracy.


 


 The laboratory has three parallel conventional lathes for the manufacturing of revolution metal and plastic parts. They allow to perform machining operations of external surfaces, holes, threads, face milling and cutting off metals.

 

 
   The laboratory has one bandsaw and two disk saws with the ability to cut rods up to 300 mm in diameter. These are normally used for the preparation of parts to be machined by the machine tool.

   The laboratory has one radial drilling machine and one vertical drilling machine, having this one positional control driven eletrically. These are mainly used to perform holes on parts.  

 
 The laboratory has one conventional universal milling machine and one conventional horizontal milling machine for the manufacturing of parts with flat surfaces, grooves, boxes, blind holes with flat-bottomed and the straight or helical gears teeth.
