Automação Pneumática - 3rd Edition (Pneumatic automation)

Publisher: PUBLINDÚSTRIA

This book is the result of work by the authors over many years of teaching in the automation area, and perhaps this is why it’s fundamentally didactic character. It is intended, therefore, particularly for students of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering courses, professionals in Pneumatic Automation, as well as all those who in some way are connected to the pneumatic field.

In this book are focused the main pneumatic systems control techniques, using when possible the simulation software, to make it simple and attractive to its complete understanding. There are issues related to production, production and distribution of compressed air. The design of compressed air networks, cylinders and vacuum generation were not forgotten in this new edition. As an incentive to strengthen the practical component in the pneumatic area, the authors offer a series of exercises solved in:

Automação Integrada – 2nd Edition (Integrated automation)

Publisher: PUBLINDUSTRIA.

This book is the result of work by the authors over many years of teaching in the automation area and therefore it has a didactic character. It is intended, in a particular way, for students of Mechanical Engineering courses and students of various branches of Electrical Engineering, Professionals of Industrial Automation field and to all those who, somehow, have activities or linked to this field.

In this book we can find some methodologies of modelling automation systems using, when possible, industry examples, supported by hardware simulation software and processes, in order to simplify and improve its development and understanding. The most important commands in the programming of PLCs (PLCs) are still presented, in a generic way, not forgetting the treatment of signals, whether they are discrete or continuous (analogue signal processing).

Since the automation of industrial processes only makes sense when viewed as the integration of several technologies the variation of speed, instrumentation, use events defined on the basis of tables and their respective queues, and the interaction between the operator and the process supported by displays (HMI - Human Machine Interface) is also presented.
